Stepping Stones' contemporary music expresses the feeling of the land where we were born, our love affairs, beliefs, books and movies that influenced us, fantasies we love.
This music is the result of ideas from our hearts and of hard labour. We are proud to present you with a distinguished fusion of Impressionist music with Jazz, Latin and Folk.
Impressionist music is historically the first to transcend boundaries of countries and continents, for it combines popular music from various origins. When listening to Debussy or Satie you may hear exotic Eastern music scales.
Uniting Jazz and Folk with Impressionist music is a recent development, done only by few artists; however, taking this fusion and adding the Latin element is something special.
Therefore, we feel that this sort of music may have a space in people’s hearts and minds. Creating this world crossover will allow the audience to experience a mix of various cultures expressed through Stepping Stones’ contemporary music. This results in a communication of a variety of impressions which stimulate the fantasy through imagination.
